TINUBU MEETS SENATE LEADERSHIP, HOLDS TALKS ON NATIONAL ISSUES
President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday held a closed-door meeting with the extended Senate leadership at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The high-level meeting reportedly focused on key national matters described as urgent and of strategic importance.
According to reports, far-reaching decisions were reached during the engagement, although specific details were not immediately made public.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio led the Senate delegation.
Other principal officers present included Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, and Senate Minority Leader Abba Moro.
Also in attendance were Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District; Senator Adamu Aliero of Kebbi Central; Senator Danjuma Goje of Gombe Central; and Senator Abdul Ningi of Bauchi Central.
