President Bola Tinubu has declared that Nigeria will not surrender to individuals seeking to disrupt peace and stability in the country.

The President made this known on Monday evening during an Interfaith Iftar with religious and traditional leaders at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Tinubu expressed confidence that the country would ultimately defeat insecurity and restore lasting peace.

He also noted that the nation’s economy is beginning to show signs of recovery.

According to him, Nigeria will not allow those intent on causing unrest to undermine its peace, unity, and sovereignty.

The President stated that despite the challenges facing the country, the government remains determined to prevail over terrorism, noting that security forces are making progress as insurgents continue to lose ground.

Tinubu further assured Nigerians that the nation will not give up in the face of difficulties, pledging to continue serving with dedication and commitment.

He added that early signs of economic improvement are already emerging, with gradual relief beginning to reach citizens, particularly the elderly.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
