The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, Kayode Ijalana, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his emergence as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.

Ijalana described Tinubu’s nearly 11 million votes in the nationwide APC primary as a strong indication of widespread acceptance and trust in his leadership and reform agenda.

He said the outcome of the exercise demonstrated confidence in Tinubu’s capacity to continue ongoing governance reforms and deliver economic and national development.

According to him, the result reflects the unity of party members and their commitment to continuity, stability, and progressive governance under the APC.

The candidate also commended the APC National Working Committee and delegates for conducting what he described as a peaceful and transparent primary election, saying it strengthened internal democracy within the party.

He added that the people of Owo and Ose Federal Constituency were fully mobilised to support Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, insisting that the president’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” resonates with constituents.

Ijalana further stated that Tinubu’s victory at the primaries was not just personal but a collective win for all party members who believe in national development and progress.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
