Spanish side Real Betis have reportedly initiated discussions with AC Milan over a potential transfer for Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze.

The LaLiga outfit are keen to bolster their attack following the departure of Brazilian winger Antony, who has returned to Manchester United after a loan spell last season.

Chukwueze, 26, joined AC Milan from Villarreal in 2023 for a reported fee of €21.1 million. However, he has struggled to establish himself in the Serie A side’s starting lineup.

Since his arrival at the San Siro, Chukwueze has registered eight goals and eight assists in 69 appearances for the Rossoneri.

Real Betis are now looking to capitalise on the situation, aiming to secure the services of the Super Eagles star as they strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.
