TRANSFER TALK: REAL MADRID EYE MAINOO AS RODRYGO CONSIDERS EXIT

Spanish giants Real Madrid have joined the race to sign Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, according to reports.

The Daily Mail claims Los Blancos are closely monitoring the 20-year-old’s situation at Old Trafford, where he has yet to feature in a Premier League game this season. Atletico Madrid are also believed to be interested, with Mainoo said to be open to a move before the transfer window closes in search of more regular playing time.

Meanwhile, Madrid winger Rodrygo has reportedly asked his representatives to explore transfer options this summer. According to The Athletic, the Brazilian international instructed agents Pini Zahavi and Kia Joorabchian to find him a potential new club.

Rodrygo, 24, has struggled for minutes under Xabi Alonso this season and was recently omitted from Brazil’s World Cup qualifying squad due to fitness concerns. He has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool.

With the transfer window entering its final week, Madrid could be set for a reshuffle that sees Mainoo arrive and Rodrygo depart—a development that could shake up both La Liga and the Premier League.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
