TRUMP SPARKS GLOBAL OUTRAGE WITH JESUS-STYLE AI IMAGE

Donald Trump has ignited global backlash after sharing an AI-generated image portraying himself as Jesus Christ, further deepening tensions with Pope Leo XIV.

The image, posted on his Truth platform, depicts Trump in flowing robes with radiant light, surrounded by symbolic elements including angelic figures, fighter jets, fireworks, and the Statue of Liberty.

The post followed a series of criticisms by Donald Trump directed at Pope Leo XIV, whom he described as weak on crime and ineffective on foreign policy.

In response to global tensions, the pope had earlier called for peace and restraint, warning against what he described as a growing “delusion of omnipotence” among world leaders.

He also reiterated his stance that religion should not be used to justify violence, aligning with previous remarks condemning conflicts involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.

The latest controversy adds to an ongoing rift between both figures, shaped by disagreements over global conflicts, migration policies, and diplomatic approaches.

Observers note that this is not the first time Donald Trump has shared provocative AI-generated imagery, as a similar post in 2025, depicting himself as a pope, also drew widespread criticism.

The development has sparked renewed debate over the use of artificial intelligence in political messaging and its potential impact on public perception and global discourse.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
