TRUMP’S ALLEGED BIRTHDAY LETTER TO EPSTEIN WITH LEWD DRAWING RELEASED BY LAWMAKERS
A controversial birthday letter allegedly written by U.S. President Donald Trump to convicted financier Jeffrey Epstein has been made public by House Democrats, sparking fresh outrage and political tension.
The letter, released on Monday, includes Trump’s signature and handwritten text placed inside the outline of a naked woman. Democrats, who shared the note on X, claim it proves Trump misled the public when he previously denied the letter’s existence.
“Here it is: We got Trump’s birthday note to Jeffrey Epstein that the President said doesn’t exist,” House Democrats posted. “Trump talks about a ‘wonderful secret’ the two of them shared. What is he hiding? Release the files!”
The text within the drawing reportedly includes exchanges between Trump and Epstein about a “secret” they share, references to “enigmas never age,” and ends with Trump allegedly writing: “A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday—and may every day be another wonderful secret.” The note is signed “Donald J. Trump” at the base of the drawing.
The White House, however, dismissed the letter as a hoax. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the story “proves this entire ‘Birthday Card’ story is false,” stressing that Trump neither drew nor signed the letter. “This is FAKE NEWS to perpetuate the Democrat Epstein hoax!” she wrote on X.
The controversy stems from claims by The Wall Street Journal in July that Trump’s note appeared in a birthday book compiled for Epstein in 2003. At the time, Trump called the report “fake” and “nonexistent,” even suing the paper over its coverage.
With the Epstein estate now handing the birthday book and other documents to the oversight committee, the issue has reignited calls for the full release of Epstein-related files.
Democratic lawmakers, including Rep. Robert Garcia and Rep. Melanie Stansburg, demanded answers about what Trump may be hiding, while Republicans defended him. House Speaker Mike Johnson went as far as to claim Trump acted as an “FBI informant” in the Epstein case.
The release of the letter marks another flashpoint in the ongoing battle between Democrats and Republicans over Epstein’s connections and the broader push to make his files public.
