UBA SANI: BOND BETWEEN NORTH, TINUBU STRONG
Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has pledged to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu’s second-term bid, saying the President retains strong political ties with northern Nigeria.
In a statement issued after Saturday’s APC presidential campaign launch in Kaduna, Sani described the turnout as a demonstration of confidence in Tinubu’s leadership.
He pointed to supporters who lined the route from the airport to the stadium, alongside the attendance of governors, party leaders and other stakeholders.
According to Sani, the reception reflected the strength of the APC and its determination to secure another term for the President.
“The bond between the President and our people remains strong,” he said.
The governor praised federal interventions in Kaduna and the wider North-West, citing investments in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture and transportation.
He argued that these projects addressed community needs and provided a foundation on which the administration should build.
Sani also said continuity must come with a commitment to improving citizens’ welfare and ensuring that ongoing investments deliver lasting benefits.
He urged party members and supporters to translate their unity into coordinated mobilisation ahead of the 2027 election.
His declaration represents the governor’s assessment of northern support for Tinubu as political parties intensify efforts to win voters across the region.
