Victor Osimhen is brimming with excitement after helping Galatasaray secure the Turkish Süper Lig championship for the third year in a row. The Nigerian forward opened the scoring in a convincing 3-0 victory against Kayserispor at RAMS Park on Sunday, a win that confirmed the Yellow and Reds as league champions.

At 26 years old, Osimhen has been exceptional this season, scoring 36 goals in all competitions for Galatasaray. His efforts were crucial in the club’s journey to claiming the historic fifth star on their jersey, marking a significant milestone in the club’s history.

Speaking to the club’s official website after the match, Osimhen said, “I am very happy. It’s amazing to be part of Galatasaray’s history and to achieve the fifth star. We still have two matches left to play.”

He continued, “Right now, we want to enjoy these moments. I am focused on the present and not thinking about what comes next.”

Guided by coach Okan Buruk, Galatasaray’s strong performance throughout the season has once again established them as a dominant force in Turkish football. The team now looks ahead to their remaining fixtures with the league title already secured.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
