VICTOR OSIMHEN STANDS OUT AS GALATASARAY’S NO.1 FOREIGN PLAYER
Former Turkish referee Ahmet Çakar has praised Victor Osimhen, describing him as one of the greatest foreign players to have ever played for Galatasaray, particularly for his strong sense of belonging and commitment to the club.
Speaking on the Libero TV YouTube channel, Çakar suggested that Osimhen could even rank as the club’s top foreign player in terms of dedication and connection.
He also addressed the striker’s recent injury, noting that breaking his arm was an unfortunate setback. Çakar explained that Osimhen briefly returned to Nigeria to spend time with his family before traveling back for surgery.
According to him, the injury should not prevent the player from enjoying some time off, as long as he avoids using the injured arm. He added that there is nothing wrong with Osimhen relaxing at home for a few days before undergoing treatment.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a permanent deal from Napoli last year.
