VIDEO: 49-YEAR-OLD WOMAN ARRESTED FOR ABDUCTING TWO-MONTH-OLD BABY IN DELTA
The Delta State Police Command has apprehended a 49-year-old woman, Joy Temitope, for allegedly abducting a two-month-old baby in Koko, Delta State.
This was revealed in a statement released on Monday by the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe.
According to Edafe, the suspect tricked and deceived a 20-year-old mother, allegedly drugged her, and fled with her infant son.
He noted that through intelligence-led operations, the suspect was eventually tracked and arrested.
The statement read: “The suspect, Mrs. Joy Temitope, 49, lured and deceived a 20-year-old woman who had a two-month-old baby. She drugged the young mother and stole her baby in Koko, Delta State.
“Following intelligence-driven efforts, she was arrested three months later. The baby, now five months old, has been rescued and reunited with his mother.”
