The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has donated security equipment and operational assets to the Lagos State Police Command as part of efforts to strengthen crime prevention and enhance public safety across the state.

The donated items include operational vehicles, ballistic helmets, bulletproof vests, ballistic shields, and other protective gear aimed at improving the effectiveness and safety of police personnel during operations.

Speaking during the presentation, LSSTF officials reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to supporting security agencies with critical equipment, logistics, and training needed to tackle evolving security challenges in Lagos.

Receiving the equipment on behalf of the command, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Tijani, commended the LSSTF and the Lagos State Government for the intervention, noting that the assets would boost operational readiness and improve rapid response to security threats.

The donation forms part of ongoing collaboration between the LSSTF and security agencies to strengthen policing, improve emergency response capabilities, and enhance the protection of lives and property across Lagos.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
