VIRAL VIDEO SHOWS GHANAIAN CHURCH MEMBERS RUBBING FLAGS ON FLOOR WALKED BY CLERGYWOMAN FOR ‘RELOCATION BLESSINGS’

A viral video from Ghana has sparked conversations online after showing church members using the flags of their dream countries to wipe the floor walked on by their clergywoman.

According to reports, the unusual act took place during a special church programme where members prayed in faith for the opportunity to relocate abroad.

The clergywoman had earlier instructed her congregation to come with the flags of any country they desired to move to. In response, worshippers arrived with flags of countries like the UK, US, Germany, and Canada, among others.

At the end of the service, as the clergywoman walked out of the church premises, excited members rushed forward, using their flags to rub the exact floor she had stepped on. They believed the act would “seal their prayers” and fast-track their relocation dreams.

The video has since gone viral, drawing mixed reactions. While some see it as a strong demonstration of faith, others have criticised the practice, calling it misguided and overly desperate.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
