WE’RE STILL TOGETHER — PORTABLE CALLS OUT QUEEN DAMMY OVER PUBLIC DENIAL

Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has publicly called out Queen Dammy, the late Alaafin of Oyo’s wife, for denying their relationship.

The pair reportedly broke up in December 2024 following a messy online spat. During the fallout, Portable criticized Queen Dammy on social media and took a jab at her hometown of Ibadan, Oyo State, claiming he helped her leave the city’s poor housing conditions and even rented a POP ceiling apartment for her in a more upscale city.

His remarks about Ibadan sparked outrage among indigenes, who subsequently banned him from performing in the city.

After months of silence following the January 2025 controversy, Portable resurfaced this week with a fresh verbal attack, targeting Queen Dammy for claiming he no longer exists in her life.

The Queen had made the statement during a TikTok live session with popular streamer Salo, while on the lookout for love.

In a social media video, Portable, who feels betrayed, revealed that the two had reconciled after she begged him, though they chose to keep their relationship off social media. He also accused Queen Dammy of lying, stating she is still living in the apartment he rented for her and recalling that they were together the night before she publicly denied him.

Portable said:
"Imagine Salo asking Queen Dammy about me, and she said I didn’t exist. This was someone I spent the night with just before she went live. We were together on the bed, and I asked her why she was denying me. Does she not want people to know we are back together? She couldn’t answer."

He added:
"This is someone who should be pleading with Ibadan people to forgive me and acknowledge that I’m still responsible for her needs, but she denied me. I accepted her back after she came to beg me. Any woman who leaves me can never find a husband again."

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
