Nollywood veteran Yemi Solade has stated that none of his female colleagues in the film industry could buy a Mercedes-Benz G-Class, commonly known as a G-Wagon, solely from acting earnings.

In a recent interview on the Honest Bunch podcast, Solade explained that the industry does not generate enough income to support such luxury purchases.

He emphasized that while producing films might make such wealth possible, acting alone is insufficient unless supplemented by other sources of income. “How much are they going to pay you for acting, 50 million? Then again, some are gifts, I want to believe so. Yes now, dem fit gift person G-Wagon,” he added.

Solade has previously made headlines for comments about his personal life, including claiming that his life improved after he stopped attending church.
