YOBE APC RUNNING MATE PROMISES TO BUILD ON BUNI’S PROJECTS
The All Progressives Congress deputy governorship candidate in Yobe State, Saleh Samanja, has pledged that the party’s proposed administration would build on the achievements of Governor Mai Mala Buni if elected in the 2027 governorship election.
Samanja made the commitment in an interview with Arewa PUNCH, saying he and the APC governorship candidate, Baba Malam Wali, had the experience needed to continue the state’s development.
He said the APC ticket was based on continuity and consolidation, adding that existing projects and policies would not be abandoned.
According to him, the proposed administration would strengthen programmes already introduced by the Buni government while introducing additional initiatives aimed at improving residents’ living conditions.
Samanja said the candidates would rely on their experience to pursue policies focused on development and the welfare of Yobe residents.
He also urged residents to support the APC in the 2027 election, saying the party intended to sustain what it described as gains recorded under the current administration.
The APC deputy governorship candidate said continuity in governance was important where existing policies and projects had established a foundation for further development.
The APC’s Baba Malam Wali emerged as the party’s governorship candidate for the 2027 election and has previously pledged to consolidate the achievements of the Buni administration.
