“YOU’RE NOT LEAVING!” — FEMI BRANCH BLOCKED AFTER ALLEGEDLY SLAPPING CREW MEMBER [VIDEO]
Veteran Nollywood actor, Femi Branch, was reportedly stopped from leaving a film set after allegedly assaulting the assistant director.
A video making rounds on social media shows security personnel and some crew members blocking the actor at the gate, insisting he couldn't leave until he returned to complete the remaining scenes. Voices in the background can be heard saying, “You can’t leave here until you go back to finish the remaining shooting.”
In the clip, Femi Branch is heard confronting the director, asking, “Did I have business with you? Are you the one that called me on this set? Did you bring me here to insult me or what is the meaning of this?”
The director calmly responded, “Hello sir, can we just start the filming?”
Branch replied, “Please don’t talk to me, you don’t have control of your set.”
The director continued, “You’re insulting someone on my set. Did I not tell you it was enough during the altercation? I don’t even have to talk to you. Let’s just shoot the film and go. You slapped someone on my set—was I not the one you slapped? Oga, no problem, you’ve done your part.”
Frustrated, the actor turned to the security guards, threatening to report them for preventing him from leaving the estate.
“You’re blocking me from leaving, right? I swear, I’ll report you to the estate management for locking me in. You must explain your involvement with our shoot.”
